Questions

Q. Can I bring little Jimmy / little Polly?

A. YES. We are pleased to say that well-behaved children will be welcome. Under-16’s won’t have to buy a ticket for the event, but they will still have to pay camping fees (under 4’s are totally free). Please advise us if you are bringing under-16’s so we can keep a tally of numbers and ensure that we stay within our license limit.

Q. Can I bring my dog / cat / goat?

A. YES. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. It is of course your responsibility as a dog owner to ensure that they are kept on a lead when appropriate, and that you clean up any mess and dispose of in a suitable place. Please be aware that there is various wildlife onsite, including peacocks & fowl, so ensure that your dog remains under control to preserve the safety of these animals.

(PS You can’t bring your cat or goat, sorry)

Q. Can I have a campfire?

A. YES. You can have a campfire, but please only use the wood available for sale from the site shop. DO NOT bring your own wood and DO NOT collect and use wood from the woodland, this is kept to maintain the natural ecology of the site.

Q. Can I bring my camper van / mobile home / caravan?

A. YES. Camper vans / mobile homes / caravans are all welcome. Please enquire in advance with Hollybush Campsite if you require an electric hookup.

Q. Is there a shop nearby?

A. YES. The campsite shop provides pretty much all the essentials that you will need for a weekend away, but if you require something more esoteric there is a wide range of retail outlets just a couple of miles away in Hay-On-Wye, and cashpoints etc. It’s a well-appointed town 🙂

Q. Can I bring my own booze?

A. YES. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol…but please also make use of the site bars which serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages…and in doing so support them and enable them to continue to offer a fantastic venue for your good selves.

Q. Will there be food available?

A. YES. A wide range of hot and cold food will be available all day from the site cafe – meat-eaters, vegetarians & vegans will all be catered for. There is also a fantastic Nepalese / Thai restaurant onsite, which offers both eat-in and takeaway options.
